NEW ADDITION The Coronas will play on the Saturday of the three-day Saltwater festival.

New Westport festival Saltwater has added new names to the line-up. Several artists were announced before Christmas, including Dermot Kennedy, Johnny Marr, Maverick Sabre, The Stranglers, Lyra, Lee Scratch Perry, Jerry Fish, Norman Jay, Joanne Keegan and Coda. The line-up has now been expanded to include The Coronas, Basement Jaxx (DJs), Hudson Taylor, Little Hours and Ultan Conlan.
The festival will take place in the beautiful grounds of Westport House on the June Bank Holiday Weekend. More acts will be announced over the coming months, with the organisers – the people behind Bundoran’s famous Sea Sessions – aiming to showcase over 60 national and international acts across three stages.
Speaking about Saltwater, Festival Director Ray O’Donoghue said: “We’re delighted to kick off the festival with one of the biggest acts in the world right now – anticipation has been huge for Dermot Kennedy’s Mayo debut!
“Along with The Coronas on Saturday and the legendary Johnny Marr on Sunday, we think the weekend is shaping up pretty well.”
