Mutt of the Month
September — Cooper
Cooper (AKA Tiny Tim) is a fun-loving six-year-old American Bulldog cross. While he’s a happy-go-lucky chap who makes the best of things, he’s been waiting for a forever home for over a year, and MADRA would really love to see him start his proper life at long last.
Poor Cooper spent the first five years of his life stuck in a tiny back yard and was never walked. No one even spent that much time with him. In spite of this, he’s managed to retain his sunny outlook and loving nature, and he takes most situations in his stride.
After spending nine months at the kennels, Cooper is living in foster care for the last three months. He gets on fine with other dogs, though some do find him a bit much. He could go to a home with other dogs, but will need an experienced owner and careful introductions to make sure everyone gets along.
Cooper is not suitable for a home with cats or small children, as he likes to chase the former and is so big and enthusiastic he might knock over the latter without meaning to!
If you think you could offer this special man the life he deserves, give MADRA a call.
Cooper is just one of many Mayo and Galway rescue dogs at Connemara-based Mutts Anonymous Dog Rescue and Adoption (MADRA) looking for a loving home. All dogs will be neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Please see www.madra.ie, visit MADRA’s Facebook page or call or text Marina on 086 8149026.
