Joan Pauline Cremins, beloved Sister and Aunt Joan Pauline Cremins of Roslindale passed away on November 30, 2020 at the age of 75. Joan, daughter of the late James and Ann Cremins, was born and raised on the family farm in Westport, Co Mayo, Ireland with her seven brothers and sisters, where she lived until moving to Boston in 1962. Joan spent her career caring for others at the Lemuel Shattuck Hospital as a nursing assistant until her retirement in 1998. She was a fiercely independent spirit with a love for fun and a big laugh that will be deeply missed by her family. Joan was a loving sister and sister-in-law to James (Mary Ann), Thomas (Ann), Peter (Anne), Maureen (Jackie, deceased), Nancy (James), John (Maureen), and was preceded in death by her sister Noreen. She was also a beloved aunt to James, Nancy, Thomas, Annmarie, Dara, Nicole, Sandra, Ashling, Kieran, Joan, Rhona, Maeve, Aoife, Joan, Connor, and Danielle and a wonderful great-aunt to numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. Joan was a devoted catholic and attended Mass regularly. She loved coming home to Ireland to visit her family. She was laid to rest in Highland cemetery Boston on February 4. May her soul rest in peace.
